Welcome to Unbound Planet. This page explains what personal data may be collected when you contact us, and how it is handled. Please read it carefully before using the site.

Who we are

Unbound Planet is a personal project exploring technology, nature, art, code, life, and sound.
Website: https://unboundplanet.com
Contact: [email protected]

Information we collect

The only personal information we collect is what you provide voluntarily through the contact form (such as your name, email address, and message content).

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry,
  • Provide support or feedback if requested.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Data storage and protection

  • Messages sent via the contact form may be stored in email inboxes or site backups.
  • Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect this data.
  • Data is kept only as long as necessary to handle your request, unless a longer retention is required by law.
  • The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent when submitting the contact form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
  • Messages are normally deleted within 12 months unless continued correspondence is needed.

Third-party services

  • This website is hosted by a third-party provider within the European Union, which is fully GDPR compliant and processes visitor data on our behalf to ensure security, performance, and reliability.
  • This site itself does not set cookies, except those essential for security and performance (via Cloudflare).
  • Cloudflare is used for security and performance. Visitor IP addresses may be processed for firewall, caching, and DDoS protection.
  • Akismet (anti-spam) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection) may process IP addresses or browser details to detect spam or abuse on forms.
  • Embedded YouTube videos are preloaded for faster music playback (song of the day, thematic songs). This means your browser connects to YouTube when the page loads. Cookies may be set once you play a video.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics – used to measure aggregate traffic and page performance. It does not set cookies or use localstorage, and it does not fingerprint visitors (via IP or UserAgent). Metrics are collected in a privacy-focused way to help us understand which pages are being viewed and how the site performs, under GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you,
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data,
  • Withdraw consent to processing (if applicable).

To exercise these rights, email the data controller for this website at [email protected]
